Arlene is an Approved Adoption Practitioner with a private adoption practice, serving residents of Windsor & Essex County (Ontario, Canada). Arlene works in conjunction with the Ontario government and child welfare services to facilitate the 'steps to family'.

Arlene is an Adoption Educator, providing private Consultation and public Information meetings. She completes initial documentation, including a homestudy, for individuals or couples who are considering a domestic or international adoption placement. Arlene works extensively assisting families to adopt children from Eastern Europe, India, Pakistan, Asia, Africa, Caribbean, and/or from Central and South Americas. A trip to Russia (2003), included meetings with adoption officials and tours of orphanages.

Arlene has extensive work experience in child welfare and post-secondary services in Ontario and Manitoba, providing counselling for adoptive, foster, birth parents and adoptees.

A graduate of the University of Windsor (Bachelor of Arts & Social Work), Arlene keeps current in adoption regulations in Ontario. She is in good standing with the Ontario Ministry of Children & Youth Services, Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, Ontario Association of Social Workers, and Association of Private Practitioners in Adoption.
